Geez, we got 1 ukulele, one banjo, one guitar, two dogs, a spotted python and a genuine Irish tin whistle.

ps when they all get going at once you should hear the din

Lovely poem and a touching story Zondrae. Those rescued dogs often make the best pets - they seem to know.

Well Marty I goggled it up and found a utube clip of a girl playing a tin whistle to the tune galway Bay. My kind of music.

Sound very jaunty.

g'day Bob,

that just may co-incide with our journey. Is there any poetry planned at that event? We could be a day too late for it. He bought me another Ukulele yesterday and we have to wait til it gets here from the states. (USA) Also we have an ebay bid outstanding on a genuoe vintage Uke so we have to wait til that ends too. But it is in Qld so we (if we get it) could pick it up on our way.

I'm running the poets breakfast on the sunday morning from 9.30 pm. Never a big crowd and only three or four of us but we have a lot of fun. They always want to charge full admission to get in so discourages a lot of people.

Check their site for the events and programme for the ukulele sessions ???

If dogs could read. They'd possibly say, An't those human good people, look what they're saying about us.If only they could have given us a few pats when we were in their care.

Now now Noel,

Just because you have been given a big award from Rotary, for your Humanitarian work, doesn't make you able to give cheek without reprisals. I am going to have another go at posting a photo and if I am successful I'll then try to post the photo of you they printed in the local paper. Crikey, only 1/3 of a liver but still lots of 'guts'.

Good on you mate and congtratulations.
