MAY 2025 WRITING PROMPTS

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Tue May 06, 2025 8:22 am

Loving this time of year, when the weather is a little cooler, when Ugg boots and Doonas beckon, and sleeping in for a little longer in the morning feels like a luxury. Autumn weather is the prelude of course to winter, which is perhaps not enjoyed by so many, apart from maybe the ski enthusiasts :D

So I guess a good a theme as any for this months writing exercise relates to our favourite time of year.

These might be helpful - use one or use them all. Your choice.

A life without love is like a year without spring

the golden glow of autumn

take time to breathe

the leaves are changing

spread seeds of happiness

rain dancing on your bedroom window

Go to it my lovelies

G/day Maureen

I've had a few of those problems too, including getting codes sent to an unknown phone.
Then couldn't send or receive during Telstra's melt down.
And couldn't log on here for a while as well.
The other worrying thing is the apparent lack of interest in the workshop,
you sense we're teetering on the edge of the abyss right now.

Cheers

Terry

Thanks Terry, and you are right - the abyss is right there, right now  Seems some may have already fallen in and I don't know whether to run away or jump

Hi Maureen

If it will keep you from the abyss, I'll try to come up with something,
Got a feeling I have 9 toes hanging over the edge myself.
Cheers

Hi Maureen and Terry, Don't jump!!!
I think I have just clawed my way back from the precipice!!
The poem I will put up may help explain why I went near the edge anyway. :)
Cheers
Ron.
