We're Back.

Post by Terry » Fri Feb 27, 2015 10:48 am

Hi Everyone,

Back home again unfortunately; after the lovely days of Peaceful Bay we returned to hot and humid Perth, although it’s cooled off a bit today.
I think one of the reason Peaceful Bay lives so much up to its name is because there is no town there. Wapole is 30 klms away and Denmark 50 klms.
The only downside (if you’d call it that) is that Internet and phone reception is patchy at the best.
I see that Minelab have come up with a new super duper detector, supposed to be 40% beter than the last one. It would need to be with a $10,700.00 price tag – mind you the knees are feeling a bit better now!

Cheers Terry

$10,700 Terry for a detector, enough to make me go weak at the knees.

Hi Matt, Neville & Heather

Matt my knees have improved while down south all be it with the help of anti inflammation tabs,
and the urge to wet a line was also a strong inducement.
And yes I am seriously considering it - haven't told my wife yet in fear of being told I've lost my marbles - she's probably right as well.

Neville we could make a threesome.

And what the hell we could take Heather as well and write a book,
I can see the title now 'The Cripples of Cripple Creek'.

Cheers Terry

You'll have to take at least one able body (I've got my hand up).

The only thing is we'll have to go detecting closer to home - there's still gold to be found at The Palmer ;)

cheers, Marty

The Palmer was always on my bucket list Marty.

This is starting to sound a bit like a forum walkabout (well hobble) - any more takers?

Okay so far we've got yourself, Terry . . . . and Valma will be happy that you've (quickly) roped in Matt, me, Nev and Heather so that 10 grand comes down to 2 K each - I reckon we could broaden the crew and bring the investment down some more - thinking Waz (when not fishing) Mannie (when not vodka-ing) this could be some trip (with a good bit of pay dirt at the end).
