Eggs and fish for dinner

Post by Heather » Sat Jun 21, 2014 8:45 pm

Saw this recently on-line. An interesting image there. :) If only the chickens could cook too.

... that reminds me of two cockatoos sitting on a perch, when one turns to the other and says, "I smell fish!!"

Maybe you could train the chickens like cormorants? Tie strings round their necks so they can't swallow anything, drop them in the dam, and get them to dive for yabbies?

Clearly men think differently to women because I pictured the chickens laying fish and eggs! :)

Of course then one has to ask, do they lay them on the same day or eggs one day, fish the next...

Presumably they would have to lay them headfirst, or it could be very painful. Would the fish come out live and flapping? Or in a large fish-shaped shell, perhaps?

Them's clever chooks! I had never heard of fish and eggs as a meal until the first time I went to New Zeelund. Very common there and I believe it is also a favourite dish in the UK.

The other time you get fish and eggs together is at Easter - but they're chocolate, of course!
