POETRY WRITING TUTORIAL UPDATED

Post by Glenny Palmer » Sun May 18, 2014 9:35 pm

G'daay All,
Just a note to advise that I have updated/expanded my Poetry Writing Tutorial 'UNSTRAINED MELODY"
and it is accessible on the Home Page under 'Techniques.' (where you will also find excellent teachings from David Campbell, Noel Stallard and Ellis Campbell....how lucky are we?)
So if you have my 'old' Tutorial just scrap that and get stuck into this new one. I do hope that it is a help to all Users, as it covers the fundamentals for writing in our genre, in a simple format.

(Ta to Greg North for posting it for me.)

Good luck! and Cheeers

Thanks Teach,

I need a freshen up. The old cogs have become rather rusty. I found a book today with the beginnings of about four poems. (not bad story lines) I had forgotten all about them. One in particular has some promise. So I will apply myself and study a little (umm I mean a lot) and see what I come up with.
I will also make notes for the IBP group to look up the tutorials as well. Thank you for taking the time.
