I've been robbed!

Post by Zondrae » Tue Feb 12, 2013 8:59 am

G'day all,

How can I keep up my general good thoughts about the brotherhood of MAN when some rotten sod has taken some of my garden statues and plants.

We woke on Monday morning to notice soil spilled in our driveway. This is some 5 or 6 meters from the footpath or front boundary (if you please) therefore up the side of the house a good way. Upon investigation we found some plants missing. Then looking around we saw that two Buddhas (each around 35cm tall) were missing and also two smaller terracotta worriers. These were all gifts from my kids.

I guess whoever it was doesn't believe in Karma of they wouldn't dare steal Buddhas. But I'd like to bet - somewhere, sometime it will bite them on the bum!

Have made a police report. Not that I expect to get them back or that the entire force should drop what they are doing to search for my lost garden statues, but to advise the police that there is action in this area. You never know.

Sorry to hear that Zondrae. Obviously morons! May I suggest you make inquiries from those living in the near area as often if the perpetrators are not so much thieves as vandals they just dump the statues in someone's front yard.

More likely to appear at the local weekend flea market and low life's abound everywhere sadly. The best Karma to bite them on the bum is a bloody big dog with attitude. I'd lend you my two but they are busy here   That's a pretty cool name for a dog come to think of it - Karma

Are these lowlife's missing the point?? Seriously....think on Buddah's teachings...& tremble!! What an insane contradiction of purpose.
You may do better asking St Anthony to get 'em back for you Zondrae. I feel soo upset for you, especially since you are so giving to others. I dunno about the rest of you, but I'm going to meditate & visualise your Buddah's back in your garden until I burst..........if 2 others join in = Universal Power quadrupled....if 20 join in then it's a power of 400.....aummm.

Rotten sods...
The purpose of my life is to serve as a warning to others.

Thanks folks,

I have learned during my 66 years not to fret over 'stuff'. I'm not really bothered. If I let it disturb my inner being it would be a double victory for 'them'. So I go on in serenity. (or as the great white hunter who dealt with the fox that took our two chickens says: go on oblivious).

Onward and upward.

Asking St Anthony to help with the return of two Buddhas? Slight demarcation dispute there at least!

Oh no, Vic. In the police force detectives come in all persuasions, Catholics as well as Buddhists ... :D
