G'day Bob,

Well done to you. Shows you have good story telling skills. Perhaps a little 'polish' (as Glenny says) will see this poem take a first. Writing poetry is, as the old saying goes, 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration.

I will admit I have been side tracked for a while. I am enjoying the good life we all wish for in retirement. I have had a few 'elbows' lately which is a good sign. May get to come up your way later in the year. Definitely coming to Theodore for Glenny and croc's event in April but not going further north at that time.

Cheers and thanks Zondrae, still plenty of fish in the Dawson to keep Wayne interested.

This one got a thumbs down at Tamworth last year ( Pub Humour ) but I put it in at Biloela and it got a HC and now a third so must be something there. I do not enter many only three last year so two out of three ain't bad.

Goes really good as a performance piece.

Might make Theodore yet still working on it.

Thanks all , The Snowy Mountains Muster Nev.

The poem I wrote while riding the rover mower a few years back out at a Gracemere near Rocky Marty.
Sort of embelished the story a bit as you do.

Never thought it would do any good and stuck it in because of the discount for three poems LOL.

Not a whisper on the other two so you just never know.

Gonna have couple to celebrate tonight.

Cheers all
