At Tamworth, we have a poets' night out, Brenda ,Terry.

It's at Manfred X's ;) tent.... BYO. And there is a free concert of Manfred's guitar and country singing.

Make sure you have your night out at the Chinese restaurant in Tamworth - worth going just for that experience. Terry, Neville and Manfred should be able to testify to that. Sue and I went three times in all. Funny thing happened last year when we walked in and the place was full and the waitress asked if we were a booking under a particular name (which for the life me escapes me) and Tom, not hearing what she had said, said "Yes". So we sat sheepishly, waiting for the real party to turn up and find there wasn't a table for them.

Hope it ain't too hot for you this year people. Rained last year and never did get to try out the pool.

Will see you all there. I am doing spots at the Services Club 22nd to 27th and the Longyard 25th and 26th.

I will also be MC'ing the first of the heats for the Golden Damper (much safer than judging)
