The "Universe-Sperm" Theory

I had an interesting thought in the shower this morning.

We are all familiar with the notion of millions of sperm competing with each other to fertilise an egg.

What if our universe is acting like a sperm, competing with millions of other universes to fertilise an egg?

What would the egg look like?

What sort of being would it grow into?

What would happen to us if our universe succeeded?

What would happen to us if our universe failed?

It's something to think about, isn't it?

Well, you know, showers and sex, they sort of go together, don't they? But why was I thinking of the universe?

I went to get some cheese from the fridge for my sandwich, alas the cheese had gone stale and mouldy and a sort of awful green colour. I thought ; what if the moon was made of green cheese ?? Something to think about eh ??

Well, Neville, many people have thought the same thing over many years. Fortunately, in our generation we have been able to confirm it!

Nah Just cut the mould of the cheese and eat what's left it'll go with the green eggs and ham It's not easy being green
