A Glass of Wine.

Post by Rimeriter » Wed Oct 10, 2012 11:24 am

Stolen from the Internet -

To all, who enjoy a glass of wine..
And those who don't and are always
seen with a bottle of water in their hand.

As Ben Franklin said:
In wine there is wisdom,
In beer there is freedom,
In water there is bacteria.

In a number of carefully controlled trials,
Scientists have demonstrated that if we drink
1 litre of water each day,

At the end of the year we would have absorbed
More than 1 kilo of E. Coli bacteria
found in faeces.
In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.

However,
We do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer
(or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor)
Because alcohol has to go through a purification process
Of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting

Remember:
Water = Poop,
Wine = Health

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid,
Than to drink water and be full of .......

and if you lived in Ipswich you wouldn't even need that argument to dissuade you. The only time I drink it raw is when I have a headache and have to take an aspro other than that it is strictly coffee and tea.

Take a look at what is inside your pipes, and the fur build up in your kettle and be assured it can't be a good thing to be drinking.

"Yay" Maureen.

A glass of wine with which to dine,
a white will be sublime.
A fragrant red before your bed,
in fact at anytime.

I've been saying for many years -
'water makes you rusty inside'.

A cuppa tea, well that's for me,
real strong and very sweet.
Both the above are my true love,
they make my life complete.
Jim.

Didn't Henry say something like:
'The reason we drink beer is to make us feel like we should feel when we're not drinking beer!'
