MORE Interesting words.

Post by Neville Briggs » Fri Sep 14, 2012 11:01 am

Callipugian : Having shapely buttocks.

People might wonder what team Maureen supports when she yells exitedly at the AFL match " Go the callipugians "

Philogyny : The love or admiration of women.

As slightly distinct these days from Philanthropy, the love or admiration of men.

Antediluvian; Before the flood.

an idiomatic expression referring to something that is so old it is prehistoric i.e. before Noah's flood.
A bit like a couple of old fellas we know :o

OLD FELLAS.....
If you meet a sweet young Perugian
whose aspect is quite callipugian.
You should not cast your eye
with philogyny sly,
'cause she's young; and you're antediluvian.
 :o
