The poem is good,some thought gone into that, but I looked up Quarks?? Now I have a headache and am going back to bed. :?

I like that one Dennis. It's different, whimsical and witty I think.
In line 8 I think you need another stress. The word colour really only has one stressed and one unstressed syllable. read it out loud and see what you think.

G'day Dennis,

Unusual topic for a poem. It makes me think of the bloke on the TV going on about 'string theory'.

Regarding the poem.. I tried to resist but can't stop thinking about so I will get it off my mind.
When I saw the title of this one, I had a flash of an image of a frightened duck making a sound half way between a squark and a normal quack - "Quark".
