Tamworth

Post by Robyn » Tue Apr 10, 2012 9:56 am

I haven't ever been to the Tamworth festival, but after reading all the posts from forum members am inspired to make the journey in 2013. I can't go for a fortnight, so can anyone tell me when is the best time to go to catch all the bush poetry events?
Thanks in advance for your advice,
Robyn

Robyn, Sue and I went for a week - we looked at the program and worked around the poing events. YOu don't need to go for two weeks.

Robyn,

The competition may change slightly this year as I believe the ABPA will run it after the Tamworth Reading Group did their 25th and last comp this year.

However I imagine you will only need around five days to go into a heat and still be in Tamworth for the final.

While on the forum thanks to everyone for their congratulations after Corryong.
