Our Robyn Sykes has been too modest to announce that she won the overall champion of the ladies poetry performance at Dunedoo last weekend.
And with due immodesty I mention that Singleton Bush Poets members got 9 awards at Dunedoo. Trish Paterson got 2nd in the Intermediate performance.
I got nuthin cause I didn't turn up, which is probably no different from the result if I had have turned up.

Not quite right, Neville. Yvonne Harper from the magnificently named Coopers Shoot (near Byron Bay) won, with Brenda 2nd and Tom 3rd. I picked up the 'best humorous poem' award. Greg North did the judging. (Heather, you might remember Yvonne from the workshop that Stephen and I ran in Melbourne.)

Thanks for the good wishes. Sorry you couldn't be there Neville, would've liked to have met you face-to-face. And I'm pretty sure Tom came away with BOTH third AND HC in the written. He also wrote a quality poem for the poet's brawl - about eagles - that I would've been pleased to put my name to after sweating over for a month!
Cheers
Robyn
