Just thought I would let you all know, I just finished cooking a large pot of bacon hock/bone soup, enought to last a couple of days, including taking some to work. Mmmmmm!!

You reminded me i have not had pigs trotters for years used to love them but do not know if the new teeth would stand the test now.

You can’t buy Pigs Trotters any more they send them overseas as a delicacy, don’t worry about us folks at home.

Pea and ham soup just the job on a winter’s day. Why would you need it in Cairns?
Oh actually yeah I could eat it anywhere.

Thanks all for the reply's, no ham but plenty of bacon, beans, peas, carrots, split peas, sweet spud, normal spud, pumkin, corn, 1 x beef stock cube, mixed herbs, seasoning salt & slow cook for about 3 or so hours, Mmmmm!! :lol: :lol:

now walking around like an 8 month pregnant woman with twins :lol: :lol:

Dave, should try my lamb shanks in guinness stout broth, triple Mmmmmm!!

Bob, all to do now is to paint the thing then move all my 'boy's toys' in and were're done, post some photo's when finished, even gunna have a 'wet the shed' session :D
