Beautifully written words Irene.Words that I'm sure will bring some comfort to the family of your friend.
Suicide will always remain a subject that is hard to get our heads around, as someone has already stated, until you have walked the path of the troubled, you'll never know. Again, beautifully chosen words.

Cheers

You are a true craftswoman IRene. That was a tough one to tackle, but you've done it excellently.

I think we must also be aware that these poor souls' minds...at the time...are not entirely rational. They undoubtedly are enduring a lightning storm in their brain, & the 'flight' takes over from the 'fight'...the normal (rational) need to survive. In their way, perhaps they are seeing it as a kind of 'survival' action, albeit desperately counter productive. I personally can not factor in 'cowardly' or 'selfish' (rational choices)....with one being in such an irrational state. So very sad.
Thank you again IRene, & my condolences.
Love
Glenny
