Lovely Marty. I had a friend who died in Oct 2008 and her coffin was taken away by two white horses and a dray. It was a lovely send-off.

OK so you owe me for a box of tissues - that is just a beautiful poem Marty, and Yes every word of that rings so true.
Those who know and love animals could all I am sure tell of similar experiences with them. If it is a true story the old bloke would have felt extremely happy that his girl took him for his last ride. I know I would be.
