There's some big words in there.

Wow, Trisha, that is exquisite! I immediately got the mental picture of an old ruined homestead in our district. Your word picture is alive! I could almost reach out and touch it!
Cheers, Shelley

Re: A CONSEQUENCE OF TIME
I love this poem Trisha! If I had to select each line and/or word in here that really stands out to me I think I'd just be copying and pasting the whole poem, so I won't! But that should tell you how clearly this beautiful poem paints the picture for me and how I admire your excellent choice of words. Love how you finish it in the last stanza as well - that's the nail on the head. Hats off to you on this one!

Re: A CONSEQUENCE OF TIME
You have made good use of the prompts with this delightful piece Trisha that first line just draws the reader in - or it did me.
I liked 'fractured visions' and 'crystalline reflections' - nicely used. Your words painted a very clear picture for me, reminded me of a shot taken by another mate of mine that I will share.

Re: A CONSEQUENCE OF TIME
Thanks Neville, maybe 'your' muse paid me a visit this week.
That's huge praise Shelley and Catherine! Many thanks and much appreciated. I did enjoy writing this one.
That shot does seem to capture the scene Maureen. There's something about old houses and their secrets.

Re: A CONSEQUENCE OF TIME
I agree with Catherine regarding your excellent choice of words throughout the poem.
You take the reader with you and we can see what you describe.
A pleasure to read Wendy.

Stone the flaming crows Trish are some of those words actually in the dictionary ?
I'm gonna have to write them down look them up and then read it again
as my grandson would say " Just Gammin "
a job worth doing is worth doing well.
Cheers Bob
