HOMEWORK PROMPS FOR WEEK ENDING 29.6.15

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Mon Jun 15, 2015 11:24 am

Quite a different assortment of poems came from the last lot of prompts -all good and thanks to all those who took part.

There have also been quite a few of our mob taking part in the 5 day poetry challenge thanks to being dobbed in by their mates - but the purpose of that exercise was to help spread poetry around the world. Each poet posted a new poem on their FB page for 5 consecutive days and nominated another poet for the challenge each day - you can see how the numbers would grow and most of the poets took up the challenge as well.

So lets see what you can do with these prompts -

shadow on the stairs

stone statue

white lilies

gold brocade

red glass bowl

silver locket

And for this fortnight - I have awarded the plaque to Shelley - her poem was short, made great use of the prompts and she was thinking well and truly from outside the square. Well done Shelley - I am sure you are honoured by my prestigious award

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
