HOMEWORK PROMPTS FOR WEEK ENDING 1/6/15

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Tue May 19, 2015 8:37 am

Lovely to see so many people have a go at the last lot of prompts - some nice tributes to Mums there as well - well done everybody, they were all beaut poems.

A suggestion for the next fortnights write has come in from another poet, and by the way your suggestions are always welcome so please feel free to share them here. My brain goes into decline quite often these days I admit.

Let us see what our bush bards can do with this -

The Billy that got on my goat

There's a bit of scope for thinking outside the square with that one, humour, political, satire, animalistic

For the last fortnights work I have awarded the plaque to Trish - her poem was nicely crafted, made me cry and because it was a heartfelt issue for Trish that she finally felt brave enough to share with her poetry mates. That deserves an award.

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
