race horse breeding

Post by Duncan Williams » Wed Jan 07, 2015 10:30 am

good start to the New Year, just purchased a retired race filly for breeding purposes to keep in the interest of horse racing.
she is a big frame bay race horse, with very good breeding - her grandfather is 1990 golden slipper winner, Canny Lad. who goes back to Star Kingdom, Dante, Big Game, Prince Chevalier, and Hyperon.. maybe i could breed a winner or two over the next few years.

Duncan.

Lucky you Duncan - share some piccies with us - love her and she will reward you well - and if her progeny turn out to not be winners - please rehome them kindly. The 'wastage' from the racing industry each year is horrific

Never raced a horse but I did race a few greyhounds in my time. Never beat any though.
