Binalong Banjo Paterson Bush Poetry Prize

Binalong, the village where the young Banjo rode his pony to school, is proud to announce the Binalong Banjo Paterson Bush Poetry Prize, to be held on August 31-September 1, 2013. It is a performance poetry comp with two adult sections, traditional and humorous, plus a junior comp, plus a Poets' Breakfast on Sunday morning.
Prize money of over $1600, including $300 for first in each adult category.
The organising committee has its eye on an expanded comp next year for Banjo's 150th birthday, but you can get in early by attending this year's event, which promises to be great fun.
