So Cute

Post by Bellobazza » Thu Jan 06, 2011 3:08 pm

Dave mentioned something on another thread that reminded me of this early effort from 2009...

So Cute
© Will Moody 20/09/2009

Your shape's so cute, you look real beaut,
your voice so soft and sweet.
It soothes my soul ...a barcarolle...
as I walk down the street.

Your compact size, 'petite' , belies
what treasures hide within.
Who would have thought joy could be brought
by one so pale and thin?

This wondrous thing to me you bring
to savour at my leisure;
a boundless joy for this poor boy,
to treasure beyond measure.

I cannot hide my bursting pride;
it lifts me like a rocket.
I rule the street, with you, my sweet...
my I-Pod in my pocket.

Cheers, Will.

Young Will is so elegant, cultured and neat,
to sashay the barcarolle down the main street.
The I-Pod's mod functions weren't east to master
but better than lugging his old ghetto blaster.

Neville...anyone who refers to me as "young Will" is my new best friend (and, unfortunately, very mis-informed!).

Cheers, Will.

Well now as you are talking about uses for the iPod..

I was given one for my birthday. It is a 'iPod Touch' and I have loaded my performance poems into it. It sits neatly in the pocket and I have it open on the poem I am reciting.. then if I get really stuck I can whip it out and 'hey presto! my words. I can hold it in my hand and it is much neater then a grest big folder or even a sheet of paper. I hope I don't need it, but if I do.. it's right there.

I just have to remember to charge the battery and bring it with me.
