Re: AVATARS Please
G/day Dave,
You would have sampled a couple of cold ones at the Grand Hotel in Kookynie, used to be my old stamping ground years ago especially out at Yerilla & Yundramindra, still a bit of gold out there too. Glad you enjoyed yourself mate, by the way did you catch a feed of yabbies at the dam?
Cheers Terry
G/day Heather,
I'll have to bring a detector if I'm ever in your neck of the woods.

Hi Terry yes mate we had our first one at Ora Banda then the back way past Lake Ballard to Leonora for a top up and then the Grand Hotel Kookynie for some take a ways then onto
Niagara Dam for fresh Yabbies n Coldies at Sun Down.
For those of you wondering this took a week with no mixture of coldies and driving.

Re: AVATARS Please
good prospecting Dave . . . sounds like all you discovered was high fuel prices and cold beveridges, eh. Any water in that Dam? What's it for irrigation or recreation (or for drinking if you can't find a pub)? I thought the West was in drought, or is that the SW wheat belt?
I eventually had to look up your sign-off acronym, am I the only one who doesn't (didn't) know what TTFN stands for?
Cheers, Marty

G’Day Marty Niagara Dam is about 180/200k North of Kalgoorlie was built around 1900 to supply water for the railways, it’s either half full or half empty depending on the weather, now its just a good spot on a hot day and is 10 or so k from The Grand Hotel Kookynie (a ghost town only the pub left).
TTFN now this I learned from my grandkids; works hey.
