I was watching a show the other night about how advertising influences our speech, The most used saying was
" Not Happy Jan " off the yellow pages advert.
I will admit I use it a bit

They say that talking to yourself is the first sign of madness. Wrong. I talk to myself all the time and it is very intellectual , the sure sign of madness is repeating advertising slogans as if they were somehow wise and true.
