Glad I made the effort

Post by Bob Pacey » Mon Jun 24, 2013 6:20 am

Was bloody cold on Sunday but worth the effort.

A good brace of Bream at the top of the tide.

What temperature do you call cold Bob?
We made a quick trip to Bathurst on Friday arvo to watch our two Grandsons (5&7) play minor league Sat morning. It was minus 4 at 7.30 and zero when the first game kicked off at 9 o'clock. Could hardly see the game for fog and the frost was like snow on the ground. God I love these kids!!!!!The things we do

Musta been at least 10 degrees Sue but then our normal winters are 20 so in comparison it was cold.

Bill I used to work in the dispatch section of a major frozen food distributor , The temp setting was minus 20 so yes I do know what really cold is.

Maureen you recon that, that is cold try turning an old woollen sock into a balaclava and wearing your bluey Jacket inside your lined full length oilskin coat with your hands in a pair of woollen socks and back of your coat spread out to keep the warmth in that your horse makes and your still bloody cold.

..there's a lot of methane in that warm air you are trying to trap from your horse Bill, be careful, that can be very dangerous!.... ;)
