Well Bob.,
another Australian writer, not as well known as May Gibbs, a bloke named Hal Colebatch wrote a venomous satirical poem called The Heroes.
It is about Malcolm Fraser and Gough Whtlam, Colebatch calls them Nincomloon and Pantapoop.
Dunno if Colebatch was influenced by May Gibbs.
