I've relapsed and foolishly entered into the Golden Damper, Terry. I've come last in other well known comps, might as well come last at Tamworth as well

Neville, forgive me, but isn't that the same competition you won a HC or C last year in ? Don't put yourself down so much!

Heather :)

All true Maureen. :)

No Heather that was the writing. :)

I'm set to go in the performance this time at which I am most undistinguished.
Not to worry , at least it is a good sized audience and they listen with appropriate manners.
Marty Boyce had a go last year so he inspired me to get into it. ( he did very well, got in the finals I seem to remember )

Thanks Terry. I presume you are coming over to collect your winnings. ;)

You can win lots of things at Tamworth. Glenny won an umbrella. Actually she won something else but wangled Manfred into giving her the umbrella instead, 'cause that was more useful than the prize she won.

Oooh, performing, you are very brave then. Why do you torture yourself so?

Neville, I read somewhere that all things are difficult until they become easy - and the greatest human talent is persistence.

Not that I know of Neville, no just taking the wife so she can have a look.
