G'day all, MartyB in particular,
You posted about the site becoming stale. I guess I have dropped my input since I started to learn to play Ukulele. At about the same time as this, first Maureen then Heather came on board. Now I have been involved with one or another poetry forum for about five or six years and, while I once was the most prolific poster, I now am way down the list.
Cudos to Heather and Maureen for keeping things rolling along. I have my own group 'Illawarra Breakfast Poets' for whom I am currently Chair person, cook, bottle washer, and secretary. Not to mention the 'Kembla Flame' for which I did most of the hands on stuff. (I pause to take a breath) IBP have both weekly and monthly 'homework' and, as I am (more or less) leading the group, I have to make sure I do every topic of homework.
I have little time to write anything for competition let alone post poems. Maybe I will go back to some of my older poems, as Heather has done, and post some of those.
Mind you I have over 40 poems posted and listed in my index. This is a brilliant place for me to direct people who want to read some of my work without jumping in and buying a book straight off. By Robyn's encouragement, I have re printed copies of 4 of my 5 books. The one I haven't done yet is only a kind of 'best of' from the first 3. I have two looming festivals in October and 8 birthdays between now and Christmas. I guess you could say I'm a bit busy. If anyone needs to speak to me, I'll probably be trying to catch some sleep.

......''and unless she's 91....a woman's work, is never done.''
Goodonya Zondrae. You're putting me to shame with all of those publications. Now...if I could just get a minute to think...I just might manage to get one new book out.
You take care of yourself lassie.

Re: Less input
ah, Glenny,
You are still around. We thought you had dropped off somewhere. Or perhaps gone on a lecture tour of the small islands to the north. Don't ask me what I'm talking about, because I don't know. I'm still not the best. coughing like an old soldier ( who smoked a lot). I still feel rotten and it's been over a week. I haven't had a chest cold/flu/pneumonia for about 18 years. and now Calvin has come out in Chicken pox. Can't really go anywhere and the tasks are piling up.
