I was watching on the TV to-day an English Quizz program called Eggheads, it engages the finest quiz champions in England.

One of the contestants was asked " What is the sport that features in the Australian sports contest between Queensland and New South Wales called The State of Origin "

The contestant said first that he'd never heard of it. Second that he was bemused by the name State of Origin and couldn't think what it might mean, third he nominated the sport as...golf.

I think he was marked as wrong.

I like quiz shows but they can be frustating when some people are SOOOOOO STUPID!

Watching Hot Seat with Eddie one night the question was about the quote "...music soothes the savage breast".
Eddie said that it was a typo and should read "beast"
Been in the company of aerial ping pong players too long Eddie?

I have since learned though that Bugs Bunny coined the alternate quote when confronted by the Tassie Devil!

ps I like kid's quiz shows too - makes me feel so smart!!!
