CHOCAHOLICS

Post by Neville Briggs » Sat Apr 07, 2012 5:08 pm

There's no one around, no one on the forum so you can't see me doing this one.

But I can see you, I know what you are doing out there...

Chocaholics

There's Easter eggs and liquorice logs,
there's chocolate chip and chocolate blocks and milky chocolate frogs.
There's chocolate bunnies, chocolate dark with caramel and fruit and nut.
There's chocolate ice-cream, choccy sauce and coco pops and minty slice and shiny
clinkers,

BUT;

Don't forget the kilojoules,
don't forget the sugar and your figure for the pool,
don't forget you teeth, your fresh complexion free from zits
TILL NOW !

You chocaholic chewers.

Easter bunnies – not a one, Chocolate Tim Tams on the run
chocky ice cream not seen here – liquorice bullets steering clear.
Caramello, Fruit and Nut, Old Gold dark and Hazlenut.
Had to give them up for Lent – Cholesterol is somewhat bent

... But I would like to know,

how come that - no matter how cleverly or where I hide my stash, ... He finds it!
I keep having to find new places to hide my chocolate. (Lately it appears to be on my hips).

No seriously, I have tried disguising it among the cooking 'herbs and spices', in the spare biscuit tin, behind the egg carton in the fridge, at the back of the bread cupboard, (you know that roll top item your son made in high school). behind the bottles on the door of the fridge. I even tried wrapping it in foil and stashing it among the fresh veggies.
Don't tell him but my latest is in an opaque container, casually tossed among the jam jars and salad dressings, in the fridge, right at eye level and close to the front. I hope the old idea that you 'hide it in full view' will work.... I'll get back to you...
