Look Out Canberra

Post by Terry » Mon Jan 09, 2012 2:49 pm

The wild west will be visiting Canberra and touring thereabouts over the next few weeks arriving around Jan 21/22 to catch up with our daughter Maxine, son-in-law Sam and grandchildren Charlie 4 and Oscar 2.

THE GRANDIES ARE COMING - THEY’RE COMING

Our Grandparents are coming; mother has said this is so,
A few more sleeps and they’ll be here; the last time was ages ago!
This time they’ll have their caravan; whatever that may be,
It’s like a little house says mum; so just you wait and see.

*****

Cheers all,

Terry

Hi Dave,
Thanks mate, we'll be trying our best.

I will also keep my eye out for any forum folk who just happen to wander past.

We will also be doing a bit of touring in the general area, so we might just get lucky as we move around.

Just seeing our grandchildren in the flesh instead of on skype will be something to look forward to. It didn't look
like it would ever happen there for awhile, now I reckon I must just about be the oldest first time granddad in the country.

Cheers see you when we get back.

Terry & Val.

Sounds good Terry. The Bungendore muster is on 4 & 5th February, if you have time to slip over there show the kids some bush poets in action. maybe you included ( page 20 ABPA mag )

Hi Neville, Marty, & Bill

I will probably be mostly tied up with family commitment for most of the first week or two, - my Daughter wants us to go camping somewhere in the snowies for a few days.

But we will be roaming around the general area for the next month or so and I will make sure we get to the events you mention if possible. I’d better brush up on a couple of poems, just in case my excuses aren’t accepted.

I will have my laptop with me so I should be able to keep in touch with the forum most of the time.

So here’s hoping I manage to catch up with a few of you on our travels.

Cheers Terry
