IPSWICH POETRY FEAST 2011

THE GRAND CHAMPION overall winner of the Ipswich Poetry Feast ..with a story about Grandpa's Purple Donkeys was --------****Drum Roll....Applause......Kym Eitel and Kyms poem was beautifully read by Noel Stallard ...The Campbells were both in the race as well so good on Ellis and David also, but Kym did it - How good is that

It was an excellent night with the oldest poet being 101 and lots of children there who had entered from local schools and some not so local schools one winner from Tasmania The youngest children were 5 - 7 and how cute were they :lol: :lol:

Thank you everyone, I'm loving the big, brightly coloured words! I'm quite chuffed about winning the overall trophy, cos I thought the free versers would have that wrapped up. There seemed to be heaps of them, but good ol' bush poetry still walked away with the prize, zippedy doo dah ... ***does the woohoo dance***
