Congratulations to both Ellis and David Campbell for their respective wins at Bundy, Ellis for "Overall Champion" and David for taking out the "Bush Lantern" ...
Results and piccies will be posted as soon as they come to hand.
A hearty congratulations to ALL the Competitors, Performance AND Written for continually 'raising the bar' of our Craft.
Well done David. Yet another trophy for your shelf. A deserved win I'm sure. I can't recall if I have said 'thank you' for the information you graciously passed on in the workshop at the National. I really enjoyed being able to ask you questions and discovering that you still have some problems when writing a poem.
Also well done Ellis. That reminds me I owe Ellis a letter. Mind you I don't have much to write about. I have been trying to have a quiet time of late. That is if you can call learning an instrument 'quiet'.
Well done guys. spoke to Ellis on the weekend and he was fireing on all cylinders when I left.
Rita Diplock who got second is a local Rocky poet and a pretty good performer as well and has only just got back into serious writing for comps. Look out guys this lady is a pearler and has quite a few irons in the pot at the monent.
Hey Zondrae I'm doing the poets breakfast for the Village Festival and just got the programme. those little guitars just keep popping up everywhere as they have a big promo on over the weekend !!!!
Gonna tip toe through the tulips out of here now. !!!

The purpose in life is to have fun.
After you grasp that everything else seems insignificant !!!
Thanks Marty and Bob. Good to hear Ellis is in fine form.
And yes, Zondrae, you did say 'thank you', so I'm delighted to know that the workshop was useful. I still lie awake in the middle of the night with a jumble of words playing leapfrog in my head...then wake up in the morning to find they've vanished. Such is poetry!
