G'day John, This is a good place to list your poems. I haven't had time to try the suggested method of listing yet.

G'day Zondrae

I thought it would be the best place to do this. Otherwise, a new section may be required. Let me know if there are any problems when you do have a go at doing your own index.

G'day All

I have added poems that I have posted on the bushverse forum to this list, to give people a broader spectrum of my work to look at.

G'day Heather

I suppose that some of what I have been saying is sounding like advertising language.

I have had requests in the past for some convenient way to see all of the poems that I have on the web. This seemed to be the easiest way to do it.

I still need to remember to keep this list up to date. It then means that I only have to send a link to this page to anyone that is interested in my work that is on the web and it is all there for them then.

If the old forum comes back on line in a read only format, I will add some of the other poems that I had posted on it to this list as well (there would be a few on it that would double up with what I have on bushverse).

Regards

I think it is an excellent idea to have a short profile and a list of your poems that can be accessed on the site.

I think it gives the reader an opportunity to compare one person's poems with each other rather than just a comparison of different people's work. I think this gives a valuable insight into the style and development of a person's oeuvre over a period.

To do that, the works would have to be listed on chronological order. I don't know if that is posible. I see the ones here are alphabetically listed.

G'day Neville

I put the list into alphabetical order myself. For some of the forum users that might post poems as they write them, a chronological list is not that hard to do since the posts are listed chronologically from most recent to oldest when they are pulled up in a list of all of the users own posts. It is a little more difficult if you like to post some older poems. A date could be edited in easily enough too.

I might consider editing in a chronological sequence as well (shouldn't be too hard to do).

This index is a great idea but it only works as an index if you know where to find something otherwise it is just a "list" of poems. What John has done with a chronological listing is most useful because it gives an idea of what time frame to look in.

It might also be helpful for those that want to make a list to also add the date, and perhaps the section it is in.

Good move Manfred and John!

Heather :)
