In 2007 and 2008 I enjoyed being a part of The Wondara Woolshed Doo near Carabost, N.S.W.

Sadly it discontinued and the folk from Rosewood down the road wanted to continue with it to help
them keep alive their watering hole at the golf club.

Since our fist festival there it has grown and according to many reports is very well liked.

As events co-ordinator I included Poet's Brekkies from Wednesday to Sunday and though Chris and I and Gary Lowe share some of our verses we like to open it up to walkups.

Each night from Tuesday to Sunday [except Friday night as their is a bush dance] we have a campfire concert as well which gives singers and poets an opportunity to share their works.

We have walk up singers Wednesday to Friday on main stage and invited artists on the weekend.

We also have a Bush Olympics where a team of six participate in 8 different games. Winners go on the perpetual trophy.
Lots of fun.

Heaps of room for camping and reasonable entrance fee.

Be great to see you there.

Sunday morning brekky offers poets the opportunity to perform a one minute poem on a given subject.

Winner receives free entry for the following year to the festival.
