Dr Liz Huff Anthology launch

Post by Bob Pacey » Sat Dec 06, 2014 1:36 pm

Just attended The Dr Liz Huff Anthology Launch ( Gem ) in Yeppoon and got to perform my second place poem in Rhymed verse Berts Hand. Pretty chuffed as the first placegetter was Tom Mc Ilveen with Kathleen and the equal second was David Campbell with Darken The Night.

I was also asked to read the winning poem in the Pfttttt Free Verse section Epitaph by none other then David Campbell again and I did a sterling job in an unusual roll for me

The only word that got me was parquetry David but there were lots of more edmucated people there who were only to happy to help me out ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

David also won the open story section with Monster.

The book is a good read and if anyone wants copies I can procure them for $ 25.00 postage paid.

Send me a pm if you are interested.

Bob

Thanks, Bob! Did you read the free verse through gritted teeth? ;)

I didn't know the launch was happening.

Cheers
David
