The Barossa Vintage Festival has a quaint event sure to raise a smile or two.

Organised by Horse SA, entries are now open for a “Pub Wall Scrawl” an informal open poetry competition themed to celebrate our Australian horse heritage.
The historic Stockwell Hotel 1865 front bar walls will display the short poems for participants in the Festival’s “Trot, Treadle, Tramp & Tucker” April 30 event.
Cartoons, illustrations or photographs are encouraged to help influence an opinion or two.

To be “judged” by the lunch time trade patrons, the winner will receive a $100 voucher as voted most favourite, with other prizes allocated according to whim.

Entry forms can be downloaded from http://www.kidmantrail.org.au or contact Mob. 0402488306
