Paging John Major !! are you coming to Tamworth ?? Bob says you have a fake camp fire which we could use to great effect on the float...hopefully with the fire ban in place we won't get hosed down by the fire truck...

G'daay Tom,
Far as I know all you need for a fake fire is a yellow rotating light (like the coppers slap on their car roof when in an unmarked vehicle) & some red cellophane bunched up over the top of it. Bang the lot into an old camp oven &....voila! "Campfire".

Been trying to get a float supervisor and walking Marshalls for the Cavalcade without success.
I now note that the FINALS of the Golden Damper Awards will be held on Saturday from 8:30 am Blazes Auditorium - Wests League Club.

I've also been informed that this is the reason the Poets never participated previously as the FINALS are on at the same time ...

......CLEVER.........??

Tom i spoke to John and for the first time in many years he will not be at Tamworth as he has another booking for Austtralia day.
