As advertised in the latest ABPA magazine
A new written poetry competition is being held to raise funds for the Dunn Lewis Foundation. Details in the magazine.
I received a phone call from John Davis asking me to help bring it to the attention of our members. Entry fee $5. for two poems with a limit of two poems per author. Entry forms from from John Davis. As the closing date is 31 October it would be best to email http://www.dunnlewisfoundation.org.au for download - Theme should be anything to do with timber or the timber industry.
Note special condition; if winners cannot attend to present their poem - prize money will be withheld but trophy and certificate will be forwarded. All profits go to the Dunn Lewis Foundation.
Festival is on 26th November 2011. and is planned to be an annual event.
