Bush Poetry Competition

Categories
1. Child: 6 to 12 years
2. Youth: 13 to 17 years
3. Adult: 18 years & above
4. "Travelling Light"
The Crystal Creek Meadows Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival Bush Poetry Award (see details below)
A trophy will be awarded to the winner in Categories 1-3.
The top 5 entrants in each category will be invited to read their poems in the final at Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival on Saturday 22 October 2011. To be eligible for the final you must be able to attend.
Maximum 2 entries per person.
Entries are to be received by Sunday 2 October.

The Crystal Creek Meadows Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival Bush Poetry Award 2011
This is the third Crystal Creek Meadows Bush Poetry Award and is themed "Travelling Light". The prize of two nights accommodation for two*at this national award winning retreat will be awarded for the poem which they feel best depicts the concept of travelling light i.e. the joy of walking, bicycle, trains....travelling with a low footprint.
* Mid week, not School Holidays or public holidays, Regular Tariff.
Prize to be redeemed within 6 months. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash. Crystal Creek Meadows may display the winning poem (with full credentials) in their four cottages.
