It's that time of the year, folks...
Chains
Where would we be without chains,
To lock around wheels in the snow,
To maximise all a car’s gains,
To take you where you want to go?
What would we do without chains,
To transform a frown to a grin;
To minimise all of the pains
That come when your wheels start to spin?
Chains give you power and traction.
Chains give you instant relief.
Chains transform words into action,
Chains make your misery brief.
Chains bring dismissal of cares.
Chains tell you all will be fine.
Chains are the answer to prayers.
Chains have a power divine.
How could we live without chains,
When snow starts to fall in the hills?
It doesn’t take too many brains,
Chains are the cure to all ills!

Re: Chains
Mmm ... not something we tend to need much up here in the subtropics for snow ...
Snow chains in Queensland are not
needed. It’s too blinking hot!
But there’s another great way
chains may well rescue the day.
Out in the night where the old
bathroom verandah is cold -
Listen! You might hear a gush ...
pulling a chain makes it flush!
(Sorry, Stephen ... couldn’t resist )
Cheers

Re: Chains
My toilet has a button. It is better than a chain.
The flush comes much more quickly, and my wrist receives less strain.
I wish I had a button to put chains upon my car.
The bloke who nuts that problem out will be a real star!
