My information is that both the mango and durian lay claim to be king of fruit, it depends on whether you like something that smells like a baby's dirty nappy. :roll:

I've had durian ice-cream in Malaysia and durian as an ingredient of chicken curry in a Thai eatery ( in Sydney ) it tasted fine.

In 1960 my parents bought a building block in Sydney that was a subdivision of a former peach orchard, we had several trees of the white peaches, they were excellent stewed. Fruit fly ruined them in the end.
