EUCALYPTUS GLOBUS

In the years from 1870’s
Dr Sanders made some stuff
‘Twas good for man and beast
it made them rather tuff

A sniff was all you needed
to cure those bodies chills.
No need for all those potions
or those sugar coated pills

Eucalyptus Globus the plant
you steam them in a vat.
And oil comes from leaves
a creation made from that

The smell of eucalyptus
comes wafting through the air.
It’s sold in all good chemist
so people don’t despair.

Keep it in the glove box
when travelling in the car.
To hide those awful smells
that wander near and far.

Those eucalyptus bushes
they’re mighty little trees.
They make me kinda of hungry
so I’ll have eucy lolly! Please.
