A Short Conversation

Post by Bob Pacey » Tue Feb 23, 2016 1:47 pm

Heather told me once that I do not do enough serious stuff so here goes.

Short Conversation

I was caught short in the nightclub and had to find the mens
To relieve myself of rumblings in the loo.
I had really only settled in to attack the job at hand
When a voice in the next bay asked “how are you”

I thought it rather strange, kinky to say the least
To start a conversation in there, mate.
Not the ideal place to meet up with a bloke I did not know
But I answered back and said “I’m doing great ”

A short silence then followed and I got on with the job
Of settling my insides I’ll set ya straight.
I thought that was the last of it but it was not to be
And he followed with a “Whatcha doing mate?”

“Same as you” I answered “I’m just sitting here alone”
By this time I felt that I was in a bind..
“Well do ya mind if I come over” was the next thing that he asked
I said “I’m rather busy now” if you don’t mind.

I hoped he’d got the hint that I was not up for a chat
and was quite prepared to take this mug to task.
When he said “I will have hang up mate there’s some idiot next door”
Who is answering every question that I ask.
