Thanks for introducing a new word to me. I'll be sure to utilise it at some stage.

Love the poem. Love spring (it's arrived already up here :) ) And the Ovens isn't a bad place.

Cheers, Marty

Lovely Heather. Has this poem had any success in competitions?

Thanks Ross, Neville and Maureen.

Aaah spring hey Marty! The wattles are just starting to bloom, the apple tree is budding - it's not far away now. If only it were a little bit warmer.

The Ovens is a nice place to dip your toes in the summer and pretty always. Thanks Matt.

Heather :)

Thanks Robyn. This poem received a commended in the Henry Lawson at Gulgong this year - but I think you knew that! ;) I'm not going to enter it in anything else.

Speaking of which, I was fortunate enough to read Robyn's winning Henry Lawson (Gulgong) poem and stroke her Henry statuette recently! That's probably as close as I'll ever get to one! Couldn't think of a nicer person to have one of those little Henrys. :)
