A PRICE TOO HIGH - Removed from view
because what is a girl to do?
I'm told by one who's in the know
that this poem could be the go
Remove it now she cried to me
don't jeopardize its destiny
for it might fly - it might take wings
and judges follow rules and things
on publication, pieces viewed -
so sorry folks it's been removed.

Really great potential in this one Maureen. I doo like this. Get the Brasso out love & you've got a major contender here.

And I'll get my polishing cloth....('yeah right!' says she...still waiting for the other top notcher to be attended. I will get to it Maureen....Both poems deserve undivided attention, a commodity I'm lacking just at present. Both poems will win a major comp in due course, of that I am certain.) Yep. I really like this one....& it only needs a minor adjustment or two to set it free.

Ok Maureen that's another winner. Loved it. Great plot. Am I allowed to call it plot in poetry? I'm glad it didn't have a fourth verse as I was looking around for the kleenex at the end.
