KNIGHT STICK

Hip hip huzza, hooray hooray,
now victory will hasten.
Wayne Bennett's latest master stroke
has brought in Willie Mason.
The ranks of knightly red and blue
are here to win a game near you,
with champion of the forwards pack
titanic in attack.

Red and blue, down under, here,
Has form to make you shed a tear.
'Knights' means nothing. It's the Dees.
All teams thrash the Dees with ease.
I love the Dees. They are my team.
I barrack still. I shout. I scream.
Alas, my vocal chords I waste.
Each week they're dispatched with haste.
This week we must face the Dogs.
See our engine jump its cogs!
The Bulldogs also have not won.
They'll get their moment in the sun
When they play our boys this week,
Because we're slow...and small...and meek.

Go Dees!!!

Does anyone care. :o :o Willie Mason was on the FRONT PAGE of The Newcastle Herald to-day. When the Knights win... its FRONT PAGE. When they lose... its a small paragraph on the back page, which doesn't contain the word " lost "

Get on the winners Stephen. ( Hint; they sit at a round table. ) ;)

In ancient times when sooks were born
And none had heard of Melbourne Storm
They all sat at their table round
Backslapping on the game they'd found

Till warriors from 'cross the seas
(We call them Kiwi refugees)
And raiders from our Capital
Came on out to ring their bell

And horsemen from the lands up North
Also dared to venture forth
Then weekly came the tragic tales
Of beaten teams from New South Wales

But now the Conquering force is here
Battling foe both far and near
Who steal their men and other crap
And lie about our salary cap

But points don't lie, or hide the woes
Of wounded Knights and Rabbitohs
They herald in a new age born
Of our new King, The Melbourne Storm!!

(Though some saw sense before they fell
And went and joined the AFL)

Cheers Boys

Neil
