G'day Frank...
A very laconic view of life, but a flamin' good read. Begs a rebuttal, but....

"When you're dead, you're dead". W e l l...I don't know - I'm not so sure.
Some reckon we're re-cycled and we've all gone round before.
Some reckon that we come back, taking on some other shape...
like a wombat or echidna or a different kind of ape.

I, for one, don't know the answer, but there's one thing I can say:
there are some who never die but live forever and a day;
who live on through the works they did, or in the things they said.
Their heritage lives after them, though they themselves are dead.

And not all of them are famous or are names well known by all.
Some are only local heros with a fan base rather small.
But each has had an impact on another's heart and mind
and will live on in a memory of the immortal kind.

So keep on making those memories mate.

Brilliant Will and so true. I like it.

My neighbour and friend Alison was a great community worker. She died at age 49 of cancer. We had a local reserve named after her. She's in my heart but those that didn't know her might ask who was Alison Tomkins and what did she do.
