A lot of 'bites' here Trish, I wonder if you put honey in your ink.
Great little romp through the bush, for the ant that is.
Girls usually have a good look around before their ablutions, but I have observed that blokes just 'go to the nearest bush/tree without looking where they put their feet, much to the enjoyment of the ensuing 'jig'.
We have bull ants in SA, especially in the north. Dark blue with a early warning sign Red Head. Their ant hills are much to big to pitch a tent on, and their access doorways are huge. Look in,
very carefully , and see all the red headed guards surround the entrance just inside the rim. They must be expecting guests for dinner!
Hi Maureen and Zondrea, is there some reason why people do not use commas to guide the reader as to the rhythms in verse. In print we sometimes need them; for instance, in the last line, a comma after 'bite allows Trish's words to flow rhythmically.
And Hi Bellobazza, You are a most clever word wizard with your squadron.
Thanks to you Trish and Bellobazza for the daily facial exercise,
Eliza
